In addition to supervising matters of ministerial standing, the Southeast Conference Ministerium seeks to raise the spiritual, ethical and professional standards of the association while strengthening the bonds of Christian fellowship and rendering help to members in times of physical, personal, emotional and spiritual need.

David Elowson
After a brief illness, David Elowson, retired Covenant Pastor and fellow SEC Ministerial Association colleague, went home to the Lord on July 20, 2018. David’s family, Trailer Estates Covenant Church, and Tri-Par Estates Covenant Church extend an invitation to come together with them to celebrate Dave’s life and remember his faithful ministry to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A “Witness to the Resurrection” service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 1:00 pm at Trailer Estates Covenant Church, Bradenton, FL. Rev. Robert Dvorak will be officiating.
Jim Swanson
Retired Covenant minister, James Swanson, who helped guide the Covenant’s ministries to people with disabilities, died Sunday, March 18, 2018. He was 80. Jim suffered from stage four glioblastoma, a brain cancer. He was in hospices care for the last few weeks and quietly slipped into glory to be with the Lord on Sunday morning at 5:45am. im’s interest in serving people with disabilities began when his daughter Karna was born with Down Syndrome in 1971. He helped launch the first of what would become Covenant Enabling Residences (CER), Bjorklund House, where his daughter was a charter resident.
